Post Adoption Services
Tower Hamlets is an Adoption Support Agency and provides services to all parties involved in adoption. We have a dedicated team of adoption support social workers. We provide services to the following groups• Adoptive Families
• Adopted Adults
• Birth Relatives
We offer support to adoptive families and will carry out Adoption Support Assessments on request.
For adoptive adults we offer information, counselling, and advice to those wishing to access their adoption records and to trace their birth family members.
We provide services to birth relatives seeking information or contact with an adopted adult. We also provide support to birth relatives going through the adoption process.
