Adopted Adults
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is an Adoption Support Agency and as such provides services for adults who have been adopted. We provide the following services• Counselling
• Access to Records.
• Intermediary Services
• Advice on Tracing.
If your adoption was through Tower Hamlets then we can help you. If you do not know which adoption agency looked after your adoption and reside in the borough, we can also offer you a service.
If you live outside of the borough and were adopted through Tower Hamlets, we can arrange, with your permission for your information to be sent to your local Adoption Support Agency.
If you were interested in tracing birth parents or relatives, we offer a limited tracing service.
We can provide you with advice and information as to how to search using public records and direct you to agencies that offer tracing services.
