Remember, fostering isn’t all about giving – you can get so much out of the experience – it can enrich the lives of everyone close to you. You will be making a difference to a child’s life – often seeing their confidence and self-esteem grow.
We will give you a weekly allowance to cover the day-to-day expenses of caring for a child. This can be as much as £425 per week for some older children. We can provide you with detailed information when we visit you in your home.
You will also receive comprehensive training to help you carry out the fostering task. You could also access training to help you improve your numeric and literacy skills and even go on to study at an NVQ level.
Ofsted have classed Tower Hamlets to be ‘outstanding’ in every area that they assess. That means you will be receiving a first rate service from us which will ensure that you are properly supported and encouraged throughout your fostering career.
